D-8 CEFC MyMasjid SDG is a program for the development and economic improvement of the Ummah (the global Muslim community) through a digital platform. It aims to encompass both Muslims and non-Muslims worldwide, addressing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program is centred around the concept of "Business, Shopping, and Worship.“
D-8 CEFC MyMasjid SDG is a program and platform for the ummah around the world to help the Asnaf and the poor and develop Islamic socio-economics digitally through the mosque
There are 6,836 masjids in Malaysia representing a total of about 21.0 million thriving Muslims population, i.e. averaging about 3,072 Qariah members per masjid. On the other hand, there are over 10.0 million businesses registered with the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia as of year 2022 representing the total trade communities in Malaysia.
These two groups of communities, the consumers and the businesses, are the main focus in the drive towards the success of the D-8 CEFC MyMasjid-SDG programs.
Adopting Partnership Economy concept, D-8 CEFC is engaging with a number of existing digital platform providers as its partners to carry out and ensure the success of the program. These digital platforms, each with its unique features, are consolidated into one digital platform, targeted to improve socioeconomic standings of the ummah through commerce, trade and social activities.
