As the statement from D -8 Secretary General, “D-8 CEFC is expected to help raise the trade among the 8 nation from USD120.0b in 2022 to USD500.0b in 2030.”

Based on the report made by State of the Global Islamic Economy Report 2022, projected compound annual growth rate (CAGR) growth for Islamic Economy of 7.5% 2021 -25 to USD 2.8 Trillion by 2025, which the majority of the country contributed are from five (5) of the D -8 Member States, namely, Malaysia, Iran, Indonesia, Bangladesh & Turkiye.
